All horses competing in any NSBA class, (including Dual Approved) are required to be registered with NSBA in the current owner's name.

If your horse is registered with any one of the eight alliance or with a microchip can register with NSBA. Breed associations or Jockey Club need to send in a copy of your horses breed registration papers showing current ownership. A "Pending" registration is allowed if you have not received your breed registration papers.

A Certificate of Registration (COR) or Incentive program enrollment meet Certificate of Registration requirement; IF, BCF, Color BCF, Ranch BCF or Smart Point Horse are Certificate of Registrations.

• A registration submitted to NSBA with a pending breed name can email breed papers to the Registration Department once received.
